"Ally's process, start to finish, for the "birthing" of my Soul painting has been truly magnificent to stand witness to. She spent a good amount of time helping me create a "board" of all the things that reflect who I am and my Soul's journey; from music, pictures of things that are near and dear to me, places in the world, etc. From there she took the time to meet with me and really listen to why each thing is important to me in one way or another. From her first sketch to the final product, watching it all unfold, has really revealed to me the Divinity in this sacred process. Ally has such a tremendous gift not only in her artistic abilities but in capturing the true essence of a person. She allows the paintbrush to be led by the Divine and the intricate, personal, deeply intimate details that birthed on the canvas reflect her unique giftedness in allowing herself to channel through the paintbrush on the canvas, telling not only my story but God's in and through me to the painting. Creating the soul painting began as a real collaboration.
