Dare to Rise is an original painting depicting the powerful journey of transformation. Created during a difficult season of my life, shortly after a severe health crisis and at the beginning of my decision to pursue art more fully. The figure on the rock represents a leap of faith into the unknown, trusting God through the fall, the in-between a chrysalis-like space, and the rise into something new. The phoenix and surrounding landscape reflect the cyclical nature of transformation, and the many stages of becoming who we are created to be.
