Resurrection: Soul painting exploring surrender, transformation, and the movement from darkness into light. Divine light pours from the hands of God through Jen and into the world, with the waterfall reflecting both that flow and a sacred place she returns to in daily life. Personal symbols are woven throughout the painting: red poppies for her mentor Molly, blue flowers for Jen’s own journey, yellow flowers for the people she helps uplift, purple phlox that blooms on her birthday, and three women in the waterfall representing her sisters.
The cherry tree, butterflies, and caterpillar speak to awakening, surrender, and becoming, while one butterfly honors her nephew. Two girls blowing dandelions represent Jen and a beloved friend, the lion symbolizes Christ, and chains unraveling into dragonflies reflect transformation and freedom. The moon is the one that was in the sky on the day she was born, the heart stones represent her husband and children, and the hourglass of light is a reminder to treasure the time we are given and return to the present moment.

"Ally's process, start to finish, for the "birthing" of my Soul painting has been truly magnificent to stand witness to. She spent a good amount of time helping me create a "board" of all the things that reflect who I am and my Soul's journey; from music, pictures of things that are near and dear to me, places in the world, etc. From there she took the time to meet with me and really listen to why each thing is important to me in one way or another.
